One Last Drive before winter — A 82′ Mercedes-Benz 230 TE in the Engadin
Some cars have stories worth telling. Others are still in the middle of writing them.
This 1982 Mercedes-Benz W123 230 TE is one of them. A former barn find, the classic Mercedes estate recently made the journey from the Switzerland all the way to Goodwood, England, on a road trip with Gian-Andri and friends.
Not to compete or take part in the event but simply for the experience of getting there. An old Mercedes, good company and the open road.
Back in the Engadin we met for a relaxed autumn photo session, capturing the car and its owner among golden larches and quiet mountain roads.
With winter approaching, the warm colours of October provided the perfect setting for this wonderfully understated classic.
A little automotive story about the joy of driving and the timeless charm of a car that was built to go places.
Automotive photography in St. Moritz and the Swiss Alps
St. Moritz and the Engadin offer a unique setting for automotive photography: winter roads, frozen lakes, mountain passes, alpine villages and dramatic seasonal light.
For classic cars, youngtimers and rare sports cars, the region creates the perfect stage for editorial-style photo stories — from quiet exterior portraits to interior details, reflections, driving moments and cinematic visual sequences.
I create automotive photo stories in St. Moritz and across Switzerland for special cars that deserve more than standard documentation.
