Casual wedding at one of the coolest downtown locations – Brody Studios – Budapest

If someone asks me what kind of weddings I like photograph I would definitely say that this type of casual wedding is really close to me. Nothing flashy, nothing cheesy, no obligatory parts just humour, joy and fun. It all started on a sleepy January day. I received an email from Holly if I could photograph their summer wedding at Brody Studio. Holly is a yoga teacher, Chris is an engineer and they are an awesome couple from Leeds, UK. They decided to get married in Budapest. We sat down for a coffee to get to know each other and talked over the details. From the first second I knew that this was gonna be an amazing wedding.

5 a.m. pre-wedding session

We decided to have a warm-up couple shoot before the wedding day / and Stag party /. We picked the Buda Castle and Fishermen’s Bastion to take the pictures. Big thumbs up  for you guys to undertake the (very) early morning wake up right after a late evening flight.

Groom prep at Brody house and bride’s getting ready at the Writer’s Villa

The wedding day started with getting ready with the groom-men at Brody House and continued with the lovely ladies at The Writer’s Villa. The ceremony was held among a small group of the family and wonderful friends. It was simple, joyful and surrounded with friendly vibes. After all we continued with the speeches and dinner… and then the party had started…and that party wow…it was a blast. It turned out for me that Chris and his brother used to work as DJ’s before so it was pretty straightforward that they will control the party. Everyone was dancing…literally everyone. The whole day I felt like I was part of the family and I never got that much invitation for a drink than on this party night. Staff of Brody Studios made this event flawless just as usual.
