A Three-Day Destination Wedding at Château de Beauregard in Provence
Nelia and Ryan’s wedding story began long before their celebration in Provence. Ryan proposed during a helicopter proposal in St. Moritz, surrounded by the dramatic landscape of the Swiss Alps. Later, I had the privilege of joining them again at Château de Beauregard to photograph the next chapter of their story: a three-day destination wedding in the South of France.
Together with their closest family and friends they celebrated with welcome drinks, an elegant wedding day and a relaxed pool party to close the weekend. Planned and coordinated by CC Weddings & Events, the celebration combined refined details with the warm, unhurried atmosphere of summer in Provence.
Welcome Drinks in Provence
The celebrations began with welcome drinks on the evening before the wedding.
It was an unhurried start to the weekend: guests reconnecting over drinks, warm evening light and the anticipation of everything still to come. Photographing this part of the celebration gave me the opportunity to capture the people and relationships around Nelia and Ryan before the formality of the wedding day began.
The Wedding Day at Château de Beauregard
The wedding day brought together elegant styling, emotional moments and the unmistakable energy of a destination wedding.
From the quiet anticipation of the preparations to the ceremony, dinner, speeches and dancing the day felt refined without ever becoming overly formal. Château de Beauregard provided a timeless Provençal setting while the guests gave the celebration its own distinctive character.
Alongside the portraits and carefully considered details I focused on the spontaneous moments happening in between: embraces, conversations, movement, laughter and the atmosphere surrounding the couple throughout the day.
Nelia and Ryan’s celebration was a reminder of what makes destination weddings so special: several days shared in one place, surrounded by the people who matter most.
The Pool Party
The following afternoon, the formal celebrations gave way to a relaxed pool party at the château. It was an informal and energetic ending to the weekend and the perfect final chapter of Nelia and Ryan’s three-day celebration in Provence.
